What is Medicare?

Medicare Advantage (formerly Part C)

  • Offered by private companies approved by Medicare.
  • Plans will provide all of your Part A and Part B coverage and may offer extra coverage, such as vision, hearing, dental, and/or health and wellness programs.

Medicare Part D

  • Provides for prescription drug coverage. The intention of this program is to protect individuals from today’s high cost of prescription drugs as well as future costs.

Medicare Supplemental Insurance

  • health insurance policy sold by a private insurance company to fill the “gaps” in Medicare Parts A and B.
